Unbreakable Mind & Body
59. Blueprint to Win 2026
Big goals don’t need big spreadsheets. They need a simple map, steady reviews, and the nerve to pivot when reality speaks. We break down a quadrant method that helps you organize 2026 across the areas that actually run your life without losing your sense of self along the way. It’s a clean, paper-and-pen approach that respects your intuition and gives it structure.
We walk through examples like aiming for a promotion, setting a revenue number, and building real habits that support both focus and energy.
The episode leans on practical systems: quarterly reviews to track progress, simple rules for adjusting to new opportunities, and a no-drama approach to goals that fizzle.
To keep momentum, we close with tips for choosing an accountability partner who offers safety, honesty, and consistent check-ins.
If you’re ready to design a year that compounds—where heart and numbers work together—this guide will help you move with clarity. Subscribe and leave a quick review to tell us what’s going in your top quadrant.

Welcome to the Unbreakable Mind and Body Podcast. I am your host, Tiana Gonzalez, a multi-passionate creative, storyteller, and entrepreneur with a fierce love for movement. This is our space for powerful stories and actionable strategies to help you build mental resilience and elevate your self-care practice. Together, we will unlock the tools that you need to create an unbreakable mind and body. Welcome back to the show. I am your host, Tiana, and this episode is going to get into some strategy so that you can find success in 2026. Now, if you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that I love to swim and play and exist in the space where things are felt, where things are not necessarily tangible. And we know that they exist and we know that they're real, but we can't necessarily quantify. And what I'm talking about is the emotions and the feelings that we assign things and the way that we view the things that happen to us and happen for us, and the way that we frame those things, the way we speak about them. But there also is a very real and valid side that I want to first acknowledge and then help you to get through so that you can measure where you're at, where you want to be, and how you're doing on your journey to get there. So, yes, while I love to talk about things in the heart space and things that are not necessarily easy to talk about, we're gonna get more into the brass tacks and get specific because this shit's really important. And I want to emphasize over and over again throughout this podcast, throughout this year, this is the year you are destined to find success. This is the year that you are meant to accomplish lofty goals. This is the year that was made for you. But it's not gonna just come to you. It's not going to just show up at your door. You're gonna have to put in the work. You're going to have to show up. You're going to have a lot of twists and turns and obstacles and roadblocks and detours. And that's what I have been working with you on since the inception of this show to help you equip yourself for those instances. But today we're going to get into how to set yourself up for success. Now, last week we talked about starting over. The week prior to that, I helped you figure out how to set a goal for yourself and to make it happen. But I would be remiss if I didn't at least acknowledge that yes, we have different areas of our life and we cannot, especially as adults, we cannot simply just press pause in certain areas to focus on one part. So while I do believe that there should be one thing that is your primary focus, we can also work on the other areas of your life. Now, my partner and I did this exercise together, and it is something that I learned years ago from a mentor. It's so valuable. And the way that we did this exercise together, he had his own sheet of paper and a pen, and I had mine. And what we did was on this sheet of paper, we drew a line going vertically down the middle, and then a line going horizontally across the middle as well. Okay, so you end up with four quadrants. Now, the four quadrants that I selected for myself for goals for 2026, in one corner I wrote family at the top, in another, career, in the bottom left, money, and in the bottom right, health. Now I wrote these words small at the top of each quadrant. I put a little underline, and then I just listed things for each area of my life. Now, you don't necessarily have to pick the same four main areas because maybe one of them is not something that's important to you, or maybe you want to call it something different. So for me, in my family quadrant, I don't really have a lot going on there because I am a single lady. I don't have children of my own. Uh, I'm not raising anyone's children. So the things that I listed in there are things that I would like to have in my life in the future. I will not be going over what those specific items are because this episode is not about me, but it is for you. Now, in my career area, I wrote down two things. And one is for work that I am already doing and I have some financial goals that I would like to hit and maintain. And then another is for something that I've been working on behind the scenes that I eventually want to launch and bring to market and be out there and be fully seen and transparent in the work that I really am passionate about doing. And I'm excited for that. But even in that one little item in my career sector, there are a lot of things that are gonna get unfolded or listed underneath that thing. But right now, for the purpose of this exercise, just keep it broad, keep it general. So let's say, uh, as an example, you are working towards a promotion within your organization. That would be something that would go in the career box. Now, if you wanted to do a deep dive into that item, you could then on another sheet of paper or even in a completely separate notebook or notepad somewhere, do a word vomit of all the things you feel you're gonna need to do in order to make that promotion uh take place. Now, in the money section, I feel like money and career should be separate. And the reason behind that is money could be about how you invest your money. If you want to buy properties, if you want to get a high-yield savings account, if you are, you know, saving for something really special and you're, you know, taking a percentage of your weekly income and putting it towards that thing, that would be in your money goals. You could also put in there, let's say you're a business owner and you want to hit a certain revenue mark. Let's say you want to hit$15,000 a month doing a certain function. That could either go in the career box or it could go in the money box. It's really just about which one you want to put it in and then keep it there. And then in the bottom right, we have health. Now, for me, health is a broad, broad, broad subject. It includes and encompasses not only physical health and well-being, my physical pursuits, meaning the things I want to accomplish in the gym, my nutrition. It also includes personal development and mental health. So for some of you, you may want to maybe make six boxes on your sheet of paper instead of four. So you would put a line down the middle vertically, and then you would put two lines across horizontally. That way you have six boxes. And then perhaps in those six boxes, you could put something such as fitness and then personal development instead of both of them being under the health category. You could also put professional development separate from your career because oftentimes we may work for a company or organization that may or may not contribute to our professional development. The gym that I work at, they do contribute in some way to our professional development as long as it's related to what we're doing in our work capacity. So, how do they do that? Well, they offer a lot of courses and continuing education, and they will have promotional rates. So that's how the company would contribute to our professional development. For me personally, I love what I do and I love where I'm at, and I'm not looking really to continue getting certification after certification after certification. At this point in my career and in my life, I'm at a point where I'm looking towards retirement. And I know that that may sound crazy to some people because I'm 47. So I do have a significant amount of time before I'm going to retire. However, my years of proactively and aggressively working, waking up every day and going to work, are far less than all of the days I've already worked, if you understand what I'm saying. So there is sort of a taper off that I can envision in my future. I'm not looking to do more. I'm not looking to climb the corporate ladder anywhere at this point in my life. And I'm not looking to take on more work. And that could be why when I went into construction in 2023, it didn't work out for me because the position that I was in was, I wouldn't say it was entry-level, but it was more of a junior position. But I was coming into it with, I don't know, 22 or 23 years of experience under my belt. So it was kind of uneven. And that would lend itself to why the first company, the second company, and even the third company that I worked for, all three in construction, all within a 15-month time frame, they didn't know what to do with me. Because from a technical perspective, I could wing it, I could get by. I didn't really know all of the ins and outs of every specific type of material or every process or the steps that are needed to take it to be taken in order to do a specific thing. But I knew enough, I knew how to talk to people, and I could read schematics and blueprints and drawings. So they were very confused on what to do with me. But I'm going on a complete sidebar and tangent here. So when you're thinking about these goals, whether you do four different boxes, or whether you do six, or maybe you do even more than that, I would recommend keeping it pretty broad. Just have something where it's important to you, get it on that paper. And then what you could do, and this is something that we will be doing this year, is we're going to set up at the end of each quarter a review just to see if we're tracking to move in the right direction, or perhaps there's been some new things that have shown up in our lives, and we need to readjust the goalposts or figure out where we're going to find space for these new things. Now, something I'd like for you to consider whether you want to do this exercise or not, is at the beginning of each year, most of us are really ambitious. We have a lot of things we want to get done, and it's normal for a few or many of the items that you had in mind to fizz out. Maybe they were not as exciting as you thought. Maybe it was a lot harder than you imagined, or maybe you simply inquired or started to explore, and you try it turns out it's a no for you. So for me, going back to construction was a hard no. But I had to do it and give it time and put myself through a really shitty commute and sit in an environment where I was treated poorly. As if you've listened to many episodes of this podcast, this comes up a lot because, truth be told, my feelings were hurt badly in this time. And I'm not gonna say that I'm not over it, but I will say that it was traumatic. And sometimes things lie dormant uh beneath the surface, but they poke at us, they remind us, and you know, unfortunately, I was treated very poorly, and it's kind of stuck with me for a while. It's kind of hurt my feelings, like, wow, those people were so shitty. And it wasn't just one company or two, it was actually three in a row. So that's where if you follow me on social media, you'll see that I've said many times, I had to go back into an industry because I felt like there was a stone I had not turned over, there was uh an itch I wanted to scratch, there was something left to explore. And through my exploration, I received the confirmation that that is not where I'm meant to be. That is not the path for me, that is not the future for me. Confirmation is accepted, and we move on with our lives. So to go back to how to set yourself up in a way that will give you some clarity and will help you stay organized as the year progresses. Take a sheet of paper, you're either gonna write a line down the middle and one line across, or a line down the middle and then two lines across. So you will have either four sections on your piece of paper or six. In each of those sections, write down the main areas of your life. For me, I chose family, career, money, and health. Under career, I wrote two things, that's it. Under family, I wrote three things, that's it. Under my money category, I wrote three things as well. And in my health category, I actually wrote four things and then realized I had two more that I wanted to add to it. But in my health sector, I am including my physical fitness, sleep, my overall health, meaning my hormones, my skin, my hair, and also my personal and professional development. Now, for me, my personal and professional development are kind of the same thing because any development and nurturing and education that I'm doing is under my mentor who is helping me heal my nervous system and work on my mental health and also launch a digital offer. So that's really all about entrepreneurial type of things and interests that I have. And I believe if you're an entrepreneur, you're also deeply invested in your personal development. They go hand in hand. So if you give this exercise a try, do me a favor, send me a text or shoot me a DM on Instagram to let me know how it's going for you. If you need help or you want to just chomp away at some ideas, I'd be very happy to help you with that. You can find out how to get in touch with me if you check the show notes of this episode. And if you follow me on social media, please send me a DM and let me know that you found me through the podcast because I will follow you back and we can have a quick chat. I really hope that this exercise helps you not only set your goals, but accomplish the things that you want for yourself for 2026. Remember to make sure that you set up check-ins and don't wait too long before you check in with yourself. Make sure you're doing it consistently and on a timely basis. And one more thing that I forgot to mention maybe find an accountability partner, someone that you trust, someone that you feel safe with, someone that you know has your best interest at heart, and someone who supports you emotionally because they will help keep you on track. I hope this episode is helpful. I hope that you knock it out of the park in 2026 and beyond, and I hope that you continue to pour into yourself to become the best version of yourself, to become unbreakable both in your mind and in your body for 2026 and beyond. Thank you for being here. I appreciate your time and attention as always, and I'll catch you on the next one.
